The quality system standard studies to be applied in the international field have been initiated for the first time by the International Organization for Standardization ISO (International Organization for Standardization), which is headquartered in Geneva. ISO was established on February 23, 1947 and consists of 135 member countries.

What is ISO 9001:2000? : The ISO 9000 standard is reviewed by ISO periodically and reissued by making the necessary revisions in accordance with the opinions and needs of practitioners. The number 2000 is the version date which indicates that this revision was made and published in the year 2000.
