WHAT IS THE EAC CERTIFICATE?
According to the decree of the Eurasian Economic Community Commission’s decision with the No. 293 and date December February 25, 2012, within the framework of the Technical regulations, the forms of Certificates to be applied in the Customs Union were legalized, and the implementation began on February 15, 2013.
EAC Certificate Mark shows the technical regulation convenience of the products that will take place in the country markets of the Eurasian Economic Union, which was established by Belarus, Russia, and Kazakhstan and involved Kyrgyzstan and Armenia in 2015.
This procedure is still valid for the Russian Federation, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, and Armenia. TR CU (EAC) Customs Union Certification substitutes the old known official certificate GOST System.
The definition of EAC is the certification of the products, imported by the Customs Union countries, compliance with the current laws and technical regulations. The issuance of an EAC certificate can be for a certain number of products, on a lot production or mass production basis for 1, 3, and a maximum of 5 years.
The EAC Certification process requires sample testing and a visit to the manufacturing factory. Test results are delivered with the certificate. In addition, all the documents sent during the certification process are saved in the Customs Union database. The existence and content of the certificate can be examined by anyone at all customs.
