THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO

FERI is a necessary certificate for clearing imported products through customs for the imports to Democratic Republic of Congo. (Fische Electronique de Renseignement à I’importation). This requirement entered into force on April 11, 2011, with the decision numbered 011/18.

In the event of not obtaining a FERI certificate, the FERI fee is paid at the destination port and a penalty of 20% over the freight cost is also paid. (409/021 – 23th March 1992)
